Hey folks,

I thought you'll might be interested in the tool I recently developed for my masters.
http//www.plainsight.info

I wrote an application that uses a host of open source tools (e.g. RegRipper, foremost, volatility, etc, etc) to create an environment that allows both trained and untrained forensic practitioners perform common operations really fast. There's a couple of screencasts I made of it in action here
http//www.plainsight.info/demo.html

It'd be cool if a few people could download it and took it for a test drive.

Let me know if you guys have any suggestions etc, etc.

Thanks a bunch,
Eoin

Ok, downloaded your .iso file, burned it to a CD…. but I could not boot my XP computer or figure out how to start or use it.

So, it needs more instructions…. for a newbie anyway.

Thanks )

Yep, downloaded it twice, burnt it twice and could boot to either of the disks.

Had Cd/DVD to boot first, and also ( as another test ) used F12 to select the boot device. But no joy.
