Hi everyone. My apologies in advance for it being so silly, but I guess we all had to start somewhere. )

I'm playing with Helix, trying to run Retriever on a couple computers I have. I can see the drive in Helix, mount it fine, and browse through it. However, when I aim retriever at it, it finds 0 files, almost instantly. I confirmed the drive is mounted. I do not have a disk/usb to copy onto. Does Retriever require a copy disk, even if all I'm doing is "browsing" with it for a lack of better terms?

You have to add the path to examine after starting the program.

Use the "Add" button. Then "Find".

Retriever can save on external or internal media, but they have to be mounted as read + write!

It is detailed described with screenshots inside the helix manual, which is part of the cd.

Regards
Chris
