Hi all Im new to Computer Forensics, I always liked but since I started taking a class for my bachelor in MIS Im more and more hooked up with the science.
I dont really know where to start, can you guys help me and give me some ideas on how to start on the field? Im preparing for CEH test, still long way until I take the exam but I would like to hear from you guys that are on the field, what would it take to get up to your level

Thanks a lot, any comment or sugestion will be appreciated since Im kind of lost. But I really want to go for it

Hi.

May I suggest that a very good starting point would be to read your way through the forums - this exact question, or ones very similar, has been asked many times, some very recently - there are many responses as to career paths, training, books, methodology, experimental labs, online resources, open source tools, sample material to practice with etc. etc. etc.

There are some excellent documents in the "Downloads" section, there are podcasts linked from here, and even videos …

Go forth and dig a bit … Good research is fundamental to both sucessful further education and forensic computing …

Welcome and Good Luck.
