Has anyone conducted a forensic examination of a Nintendo DSi?

I have an exhibit that does not contain an SD Card - it does contain a (pre-formatted ?) games card.
I have searched on a number of forensic forums and cannot see any postings referencing a Nintendo DSi.
I have established that the device can contain up to (approx) 200 images and to 'move' the images to a computer is via the SD Card.

Before I go that route has anyone had to examine / had experience of this device and if so did you use any other options?

many thanks
Dianne Bailey

I thought the DSi (not the DSi XL) only had 256MB of internal memory, but the SD slot supports SDHC.

To be honest, from my experience of doing a Wii, PS3, PSP and XBOX 360, its probably all super encrypted, if you could even access the onboard storage at all.
Your best option and what I did was to explain it to my manager and just turn on the device, connected to a TV/Monitor and view and photo everything thats relevant, including usual stuff like dates, times, firmare versions, etc…

Obviously write down ALL your steps and photo it all too…. but I don't want to teach you how to suck eggs, I'm sure your well aware of all that )
