Hey all,

Does anybody have a PDF or anything on the offsets for the various values for call logs and texts in Nokia PM tables. Cellebrite isn't translating them properly. I can see the texts in unicode and I can see the call logs but Cellebrite isn't seeing the texts at all and has the dates and times and durations totally wrong for the call logs. It's a Nokia 1202 if that makes any difference.

Thanks.

You may find that PmExplorer does a better job. You can decide which pm key is to be decoded as SMS and also choose which variant of SMS en/decoding to use.

There is a demo version at the web page.

PmExplorer didn't work for me but I located the problem with Cellebrite it was using the Nokia 1100 chain to analyze the pm tables when it needed to use the Nokia 1800 chain. I changed them around and now it's sorted them out with no problems.

Could you tell me why/how PmExplorer didn't work - with thorough feedback I can fix problems or help if it is a user issue.

Paul,

I loaded up the PM table and located the keys where the call logs and texts were. I then tried these keys with call log 1 and call log 2, and with SMS1 and SMS2. Call log2 gave some results for the call logs but the times and dates do not appear to be accurate and there is no call duration. SMS2 gave some results but did not give the body of the message and again the times and dates are obviously wrong (I don't think SMS was around in 1913!).
Please PM me if you need any more information.

Joe
