Hi,

Anyone got good recommendation for converting NSF to PST?

Preferably good, cheap and if better still, freeware….

Greetings,

Google for "NSF PST". The first link is to a thread that provides several options.

Thanks Kovar, that was fast.

Actually, I like to have the view of someone who has in the past use the s/w before. Maybe someone who use a specific s/w and find it useful.

Thanks anyway Kovar. Will look at the link.

ABC Amber's Outlook Converter is cheap and does a great job on the conversion.

For converting NSF to PST and other mail formats I regularly Transcend Mail Migrator. Its reliable and easy to use. I like it because you can select which folders or views to convert eg, Calendar, All Documents etc

I use the Forensic version which also lets me run batch jobs to convert multiple NSF files with the one command. It's also very flexible with the how you output the converted mailbox such as breaking down large mail databases into smaller chunks. The forensic version is more expensive but worth it if you do alot of mail conversions.

Aid4Mail and Transend Migrator (Uniaccess) are both easy to use

I already did that once with NSF2x. Here's what I did

Requirements

- IBM Notes
- NSF2x

How to

- Install IBM Notes and launch it. The first time you will be prompted to configure some parameters. Do it when the software is successfully launched, U can close it.
- Now install NSF2x and launch it.
- On the top left side of the screen you can see that you are asked to input the Lotus note password. Simply click on it and leave it blanck.
- Then click on the next button "Open session"
- Normally if everything is ok, you should see a message telling you that the connection between this software and IBM notes is successful.
- Now you can choose the NSF source folder and the export folder
- Select also the output format and click on convert
- Here you are, the conversion shall begin and then you can export the converted files to another sofwtare or mail client.
