Guys, please help me… I'm a newbie in this line.

A client has purchased FastBloc FE and wish to clone 2 X 2.5" hard disk and 2 X 3.5" hard disk from 4 suspected machines. Problem is… I do not have Encase.

This client says he know EnCase could clone all the hard disks in 1 hour time. I only have NTI software with me. I have not use a FastBloc before. Please help me

a) How to use FastBloc? What does it look like and what cables or ports it has? How to connect?

b) Can FastBloc use with SafeBack? Anyone tried it?

c) Will the speed of SafeBack+FastBloc be faster than normal Safeback process?

Thanks.

I've never thought that safeback was overly fast. Can't say I've used or had the need for a fastbloc either.

In this case I'd burn a few Helix cd's (e-fense.com/helix) and use GRAB to acquire dd images with a sha1 hash. Get a few boxes and parallelize the process and it shouldn't take too long.
