I was in London, United Kingdom, in a pub and searched and the bouncer stole my phone. I was drunk unfortunately. Got my bill today and €500 worth of calls made to Nigeria for the few hours before I reported it stolen. I've reported it to the police but they said unlikely the Crown will try and prosecute.

So I've decided to go the civil route, don't care if it costs me £5000, I just want some justice. Anybody here familiar with UK civil law and precedence, what's the chances of the mobile operator releasing records of phone masts used and other information that could be useful to me. Anyone have recommendations of UK solicitors?
