Using IE I get an odd effect, only on this forum, whereby the small icon at the top of every post (the one under the subject and to the left of Posted Thu Oct 04….) is displayed at a monster scale and takes up most of the page.

Anyone else see this?

Paul,

I've seen this before, although it typically only affects older versions of IE. Can I ask which version you're using?

Thanks. In that case two things which have been reported before as possible fixes are to make sure you're up to date with all the latest IE/Microsoft updates and also to try toggling the compatibility view to see if that makes any difference.

I suspect that at the heart of this it's a problem caused by gzip compression but I'm not sure why it affects only a small percentage of people. Anyway, the above is probably worth trying if you can. Please let me know what happens (I'm heading out now but will be back later this afternoon).

Cheers,

Jamie

Thanks Jamie

SW was up todate, but compatibility view sorted it.

Thanks Paul. Out of interest, did you need to enable or disable compatibility view to sort it?
