I've just downloaded Google Earth, after a friend told me about it. It's got to be one of the best programs I've ever seen.

I tried it on my laptop (thought it might be useful for flight planning) but the video card's too old! Looking forward to trying it on the desktop when I get back to the office.

Great, a cheap, effective reconnaissance tool for terrorists. It does look good though.

I agree, been playing with it for a while. My little boy loves it, we go off searching for the Pyramids, the Great Wall of China and loads of other stuff.

Superb educational tool.

Google does come up with some pretty interesting stuff. http//maps.google.com/ is great for mapping out locations, to/from, and distances. I'm in Canada so some of the maps are scarce, but elsewhere around the world they're pretty detailed.
