I am looking for a specific o********t converter. Most of those I have looked at recently seem to build a PST from scratch by parsing the OST a message at a time. They are more like data recovery tools than straight forward converters.

ISTR that one of the tools (at least) used to do the conversion almost instantaneously. This is what I am looking for - has anyone any idea of what iam on about ) and can point me in the right direction of this tool?

Paul

Not knowing what you have looked at…

Would OST2PST (http//www. ost2pst .org/) be what you are looking for?

Let us know what you've looked at so far - it may help )

Try PST Walker. It could help you solve your problem.

You can also use "Advanced Outlook Repair" to convert the OST. Just 'repair' the ost and choose PST as your output filetype. I've used it before with success.

If you decide to pay for something, then I'd fully recommend Nuix's 'Proof Finder'. Deals effortlessly with EDBs and loads of other email formats. Can output into PST, though it's main function is as an analysis and search tool. Costs $100, all proceeds to charity. Support is second to none. [I'm not connected in any way to Nuix]
