Hello all,

Recently I did a logical acquisition from a Samsung E760 phone with Oxygen Forensic Suite II (latest update). I noticed two things
1. The phonebook contact fields were copied, except for the phone numbers
2. The call history was acquired, except for the durations of the calls.

Is anyone familiar with these issues? Does anyone have an idea what went wrong here?

Hi, I have the same problem with SGH-E390. I wonder if there is a solution to this?

In many models (some Samsung, SE and Motorola), this information is not available using logical extraction.

You can use physcial extraction tools, like UFED PA, to get this additional data and many additional deleted records.

Regards,
RonS

Why not share the answers with everyone? and only answer in private messages?

RonS Because we need log files to identify each specific case.

basse
About call time.
1. There is a standard AT command AT+CPBR, that reads name and phone number only.
2. There is a special Samsung command AT+LOXR, that reads call time too.
3. Not all the Samsung models support AT+LOXR command.

To identify the phonebook problem we'll need a log file.

WBR, Oleg Fedorov.
