Trying to import .DAT file failed with "Backup import error. Dump format is not supported"
Is anyone else encounters this error?
Which format is needed?

Thank you for your interest in our new feature! We don't import separate .dat files. The input file must be a physical dump of the drone's internal flash card.

Please also note that currently we support Phantom 3 and Inspire 1 models and are planning to release an update with the support of Phantom 4 and Inspire 2 in a couple of days.

Thank you for your feedback.
Physical extraction of the drone isn't supported?
I did the extraction using XRY tool, is your tool performing the extraction as well?

Hi!

Oxygen supports the extraction of the drone, but we perform an actual Physical collection of both the internal and external media currently. That means a raw dump, DD bin is created. Why is this done? Easy, because there can be MANY .DAT files within the DJI drone, in this case. Many different flights, same flight, etc. We then parse each and every .DAT file to produce all data, not just a single .DAT file.

So, to answer your question. If you are using an extraction by XRY and it is a single .DAT file you could possibly be missing not only .DAT files that are still on board, but deleted .DAT files that could be extracted and parsed within Oxygen.

How can we parse the single .DAT file? It might be possible to place the .DAT file in a folder and then create a custom image file as a DD. Have not tried that method. The best method would be to get a physical image.
