Hello,

In the latest release of Oxygen Forensic, they announced support for authorization via USB token for Google services.
Does anyone know what's the meaning of it?
It is a Token I can acquire via Physical extractions?

Thank you in advance,
John.

Hi John! If a device owner uses 2FA for his Google account, he can choose several authorization methods SMS, Google Authenticator, Backup codes, Google Prompt or USB token. Authorization via USB token means that a user uploaded a special token to the USB key and uses it for a safe login to Google services. If an investigator had a chance to find this token he can now have an access to the evidence stored in Google services and extract all the data with Oxygen Forensic Detective.
