The latest Device Seizure appears to have pretty good breadth of features and handsets. Can anyone feedback their experiences with this software as it is something I am considering to assist with physical extractions?

Never had any unresolved problems with DS.

On an acquisition a few months back I had issue with seeing the phone though the software. Called into Paraben CS and someone spent 20 mins making sure it got recognized through emailing drivers and things to do with the phone.

The price is for sure right, and since Cell Phone/ Devices is their core I can recommend them.

One thing is that the kit for cables I have is older so occasionally on a job i need to order a cable, but spend the money for next day and have never received a defective cable.

In all honesty our success rate with the tool is fairly low.

We have had some success while using the tool on Early Androids and some Windows Mobile handsets.

Depending on what sort of handsets you are hoping to extract I would recommend going with .XRY/XACT or Cellebrite. I know there is a definite difference in cost but it sure saves typing data out!

You could refer to the report by NIST. There is the test result for Device Seizure 3.1. http//www.cftt.nist.gov/mobile_devices.htm
