Just trying to work out from an analysis of an android S3 where autologin details are kept.
For instance, dropbox, gmail, twitter, FB etc all autologin when pressed, but where is the credential info held on the phone which must be queried? Or authtoken etc?
it is driving me crazy trying to work this out! cry cry
Wouldn't that be
http//
System Default Browser Passwords "/data/data/com.android.browser/databases/webview.db"
or maybe
"/dbdata/databases/com.android.browser/webview.db"
?
Or maybe it is "browser specific"?

Thankf for the reply, that link is really helpfull! Its given me a few areas to look, but I was thinking of app specific, not through a browser - for example, the dropbox app and where that app stores its auto authentic credntials. I did look in the accounts.db in system/users/accounts but I couldnt seem to see anything despite the app auto logging in when pressed.
Cannot say but it is possible that *something like* Lastpass or Keepass has been installed to that phone. ?

no, nothing like that installed, just checked.
So im just presuming theres a system file somewhere that holds the authentication credentials for dropbox to login when the app is pressed. Checked the installation folder for the app and nothing so it must be located else where, but the question is where, aaahhhh!! evil evil evil ( lol
