We have an historic case and we have a pin locked SIM card.
The P.U.K. has been requested from the network ( Voda) they have stated that the passage of time is such that the puk will have been re allocated to another S.I.M
Is there a way of retrieving any info from this sim

Good afternoon,

I remember using a company a few years ago to retrieve information from a broken SIM card.
Whether they will be able to help you with a locked SIM card I'm not sure.

That sounds like a bogus excuse to me if ever I heard one.

Even if the PUK was recycled on another card that doesnt mean it would stop working on the card which you have.

Now of course if the passage of time means they have cleansed their records of the respective ICCID as it had not been topped up/connected for so long and was subsequently written off then I could understand why they would also have no PUK. However, surely a basic record of every issued SIM would be kept along with the PUK and a few other specifics…

By the way its been so long since you decided to have a PIN on your SIM that you can no longer choose '1234' because I'm using that one!! )
