I have a Sony Xperia Z2 with a PIN code lock.
Unfortunately USB debugging is not on and there is no support from Cellebrite Touch unit or XRY. I am currently looking at Jtagging but that looks to be a dead end too.
Any one else had any luck with this model of handset or could suggest any other ideas?
any possibilities to install an other recovery environment?
have send a pm
DO NOT INSTALL A RECOVERY PARTITION ON THIS PHONE! THE HANDSET HAS A LOCKED BOOTLOADER AND UNLOCKING IT TO FLASH RECOVERY WILL WIPE THE DATA
True, but he could still check if Bootloader possibly is already unlocked. As there's no access into device he has to trial & error flash a suitable recovery, if it works he's good to go, there's an option to crack almost any user pin or pattern from recovery. if it doesn't work he won't harm phone nor data by that flash attempt.
That's the only chance I see without using Jtag Box.

I had a look into Jtagging and could not find any support for that particular model of handset, what software/equipment was using thinking of?
I'm confident Riff Box was able to access Xperia Z2. Not sure about Oktopus (possibly with SE Tools), check those two I'm sure there's a solution somewhere out there.
edit if all fails ask folks over at GSMHosting forums, there you'll find flashing experts for each and every model and also can (somehow difficult) get in contact with guys from manufacturer.
