We (Pinpointlabs) just released SafeCopy 2.0. I hope to see it show up in the downloads area with our other applications but for now you can go to our webpage
Some of you may have downloaded the first version. We added several new options based on user feedback.
SafeCopy 2.0 Features
1) Easily select multiple sources and options without creating batch files or using switches (I know, where's the fun in that!)
2) Source and destination files are hashed (MD5), logged and compared to confirm complete and accurate copies
3) Immediate notification of any errors which are also displayed real-time in processing dialog and in error log
4) Easy to read verification log (used as Chain of Custody) which includes source, destination paths, files sizes and several file system metadata fields
5) Separate error log facilitates review of issues encountered during copy process
6) Job file contains all settings and allows user to easily resume previously aborted, disrupted or cancelled copy jobs
7)‘Tag’ directories from Windows explorer and use ‘send to’ or drag and drop to identify multiple data sources or individual files
