Where is the EXPORT function? I'm looking at the Zimbra Desktop and I don't see it - its probably staring me in the face (
Thanx
For Yahoo, we typically use the free Zimbra Desktop
http//
www.zimbra.com/products/desktop.html The export splits large folders into subfolders of 1000 messages so there's potentially a little bit of work to do after you get it into a PST, but it should still be faster than going via Gmail.
Click the Preferences tab. You should now see the configured accounts in the sidebar on the left, then click Import/Export. The export is a .tar that contains individual .eml files, which you then convert to PST.

Got it.

Yahoo! does offer IMAP services if you know how to access them.
The servers are
imap.mail.yahoo.com port 993 (SSL/TLS)
smtp.mail.yahoo.com port 465 (SSL/TLS)
The following non-standard imap command must be sent before the login is done
“ID (“GUID” “1′′)”
We've modified a copy of Thunderbird and it works fine. Successfully downloads all messages (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, etc..) as well as any custom folders that the user may have created.
Aid4Mail v2 has an IMAP option which collects from Yahoo, Gmail, etc and saves it to whatever format you want - PST, mbox, eml, msg, pdf, etc. Used it many times since upgrading to v2 a few months ago.
Yahoo Mail Was having some issues with the Yahoo IMAP configs. Tried various proxy software work arounds, Thunderbird configs as well as Zimbra with no luck. Gave Aid4ail a run and it did the job as balzanto stated. Ran in VM with screen caps and video caps. Custodian was very nervous about privacy so good documentation and encrypted storage was used to alleviate concerns.
