Scenario You allow a "trusted individual" to use your flash drive to view a piece of material that you have on it. The individual views the material, copies the full contents of your drive and pastes it to their computer.
Is there a program that you could install on your thumb drive that would protect the contents from being copied?
Thanks!
In a nutshell - No.
The logic is basically - if you allow someone to "read" something, then they have the ability to do anything with their "read" copy.
Even more scary, there are tools that do it silently in the background, so that even if you closely watch the "trusted individual" and what he/she does whilst the stick is connected, you have NO way to detect that in the background a copy is performed.
And there are even worse things in life (, like switchblade

(that works silently the other way around)
