Dear All,
I'm involved in a brand infrigment case.

If I search the words XXXX on google, the first position in the result list is held by "www.yyyy.it", where XXXX is my client brand's name
and "www.yyyy.it" is the counterpart institutional web site.

I would that www.yyyy.it will not appear in the first page result (for instance) when we search XXXX.

Does anybody know how to do that? I heard "cleaning reputation"… where can I find some information about that?
Where can I find some documentation about that?

Thank you in advance
Best Regards
Andrea Liguoro

"Cleaning reputation" generally refers to pushing links with bad press to the bottom and having the top talk positively about whatever you're searching. This is a different case than that. Basically the only real way to change positions is to hire an agency that does search engine optimization. What determines position is Google's own proprietary algorithm, and clearly they don't publish exactly how that works. So companies try to guess and reverse engineer how it works, come up with strategies their clients can use, and sell those services as search engine optimization.

A buddy of mine owns a company that offers this and here is his page talking about it

Hope this helps.

You can download demo of IBP here IBP and check/compare both sites. You can check rankings for both sites and get optimization report for both sites. You can also download two sites with HT Track HT Track. There is no easy way to get high ranking on Google. It is a slow and complex process and best left to the experts in this area. Google always stating that "content is a king" One way some sites come on top is to use Google Adwords, but it cost money.
You can send me a PM for more information.
