I currently have a HDD with a 'Tencent' folder in the my documents section. It obviously contains a 7 number QQ ID folder with what I presume will be chat logs saved in them. Also on the disk is a QQ.idx which will possibly contain mail messages

Is there any way of reading the messages sent/receive for both mail and chat? Its probably going to be in chinese as well roll

We use http//belkasoft.com/bfia/en/Forensic_Instant_Messenger_Analyzer.asp for QQ chat.

We have had some issues exporting XML/HTML with Chinese char sets from Belkasoft but the app is quite portable and could be installed for an interpreter on their machine.
