Hiya chaps,
Hopefully someone might be able to help me with this one….
I am working on a case at the moment relating to indecent images.
I have been preparing my 'totality of images' report and note that there is a large collection of jpgs with file names along the lines of lsf10-4-04.jpg and numbered consecutively.
However, in addition to these .jpgs are a number of rar and par2 files which follow the theme of the file names. I am aware that this is a large movie file which is broken down in rars and pars for ease of downloading.
However, there are a number of rar files missing and there arent enough par2 files to repair the file and at present I cant seem to view it.
In winrar, it tells me that it needs more files but wont let me see whats there already.
I've tried to repair the file with Quickpar but there are too many missing files and not enough PAR2 files to repair it fully.
The files when they are not compressed are .mpg files but cannot be viewed individually.
Is there any way that I can view even a bit of what is looking to be in the region of a 1 gig movie even with the missing rars and pars???
Thanks in anticipation of your assistance.
Hi Sarah, take a look here:
Apparently the par files are useless withput the corresponding rar files 🙁

Andy 🙂
