I'm a little confused with SkypeLog results. This is the first time I've extracted Skype data and I'm just trying to get my head around it as I need to figure out some suspects and who's talking to who! (This is only for chat logs, not calls)
OK. So… lets go (I'll try not to make it too confusing!) )
I have the USERNAME from the PC, we call him SUSPECT1
On the view / report it has 'User Name' and 'Display Name' Now, is it safe to assume these are the people that SUSPECT1 has been chatting to? I say this because on some of them, the User Name and Display Name are the same as SUSPECT1? But its a proper conversation, so surely he is not talking to himself?
Also, is there any kind of structure or is it a one way conversation, i.e. the replies are on the other PC (wherever that is?)
I'm trying to piece some conversations together, but when the user of the PC comes up on it, it threw me!
