Hi there,
as I am quite new to forensics and just had one real case so far I have to present my findings at court roll
so I was wondering if there are any recommendations for the presentation or if anybody even can recommend a template what should be included. I found several helpful descriptions in layman's terms which I will use. However, do you guys for example include receipt of evidence or acquisition in your presentations or primarily the examination and analysis?
Thanks a lot

I suspect that the lawyer that you have been subpoened by will want certain things. I suggest that you speak with them first and prepare accordingly.
My experience has been that all the information you mentioned may be required either on direct or cross so I prepare to answer all those questions even if the topics haven't been lead during direct examination. You only need a report or "paperwork" if there is an intention to tender same as an exhibit. Referring to notes that will not be tendered as an exhibit is referred to as an aide memoir and needs to be sanctioned by the judge. You may be cross examined on your notes in this case so be sure they are presentable and do not contain "editorial" comments.
Do you mean actually presenting your evidence in court or submitting your evidence in a report? These can be quite different?
