After a long hiatus/rewrite I am now looking for testers for Reconnoitre my VSC processing software.
Reeconnoitre takes the pain out of VSC processing by allowing you to point directly at an image and then see the existing files alongside any shadow files that belong in a particular folder. You can the copy a file/files and one or more of its shadows out of the image for viewing.
No more vssadmin, no more limits based on available drive letters, no more imaging of mounted volumes - take your pick.
Reconnoitre also allows you to get at the shadow MFT (the MFT is a file and so is also present in a shadowed form) allowing you to look at all of the additional data that is present withing the MFT that mounting a shadow using vssadmin does not allow you to see.
Those that have both the time to review this software and the ability to provide constructive feedback should contact me either via pm or email (its easy enough to find ) ). I am initially looking for limited numbers from different fields so please don't feel offended if you are not chosen to do some testing.
