Hello everyone…!!!

Please help me out. It's urgent

I am trying to recover the ".mdf and .ldf " files which are files of MSsql

one is master database file and another is log file

I'm trying to recover it from winhex.

but I don't have the header and footer of that file… so I'm unable to recognise those files

can u give me header and footer of that files?

or any another help?????

MDF - Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database
Header Hexdump 01 0F 00 00

LDF - Microsoft SQL Server 2000 log
Header Hexdump 01 0F 00 00 08

At least .mdf is one of the "recognized" file formats.

Since .ldf seems to have the same Header initially, it is possible that it will recover it as well, only with a "wrong" .mdf type
