RegistryViewer shows raw Windows Registry files in an Explorer-like style. It is possible to open all Registry files (system, software, sam, ntuser.dat, default, userdiff and security) at one time and search for keys and values. Each value can copied and saved to a file.
I have updated RegistryViewer to v1.1.1.
There are some improvements on the data viewer and the search function.
Supported languages are now English, German, Japanese, Chinese and Brazilan Portuguese.
Hallo Werner,
Danke!
Gruß Chris
Vielen Dank für das nette Feedback!
Thank you very much!
Werner,
first thing thanks and my compliments for your nice work. )
FYI, a tool capable of accessing an "offline" Registry in Read/Write mode is under development by Nuno Brito on Boot-land

Not yet fully working, but a good start.
Development is on hold right now, due to "real life" (VERY GOOD) news
http//
but I hope it will soon resume….
Cheers,

Thank you, but what have this application to do with RegistryViewer?
I think I don't understand you.

Basically it allows to access a non-online Registry like your app does.
But (though as said not yet fully working-i.e. not with ALL types of Registry hives and key types) it also allows for changes to be made.
It was just a FYI. 😉

I have updated RegistryViewer to v1.2.
Now it supports command line parameters to open files from an other application (e.g. EnCase or XW-Forensics).
