Hello, I am attempting to reset the user code (or read the user code if possible) using a Z3X box. I have used the cable supplied with the box & a Samsung branded USB cable with no success.
I am able to install the drivers by entering in the boot loader on the handset, haowever any other operation requires 'normal' mode which is where the problem lies.
I believe that the handset needs to be Qualcomm mode which requires access to the keypad to enter a specific code.
Is there any way this can be by-passed or is there any other method one can use to obtain/ reset the user code?
Regards,
N
I have never used the Z3X box so cant advise on that but for any Samsungs I get in I have found the quickest and easiest tool has been NSPRO.
Does the NSPRO box unlock Qualcomm-based devices?

I personally don't think I have ever managed to get a Qualcomm handset to work on NSPro. (

just tested on one f480 with Z3x - it works in qualcom mode and in samsung mode no need to set to qualcom (use "2 in one checkbox) and radio button "read codes (loader)"
