I have a phone which is suspected of tumbling IMEI's (Samsung SGH G600). I have done a physical extraction from the device, unfortunately it has not returned any information about IMEI (presumably as the software in handset has been tampered with) No previously inserted SIM details have been recovered within general information.
On powering up the handset it asks for the SIM to be inserted to enable me to navigate through the handset. I'm unable to do this as there was no SIM recovered with the handset. So this is where I'm trying to figure out how to physically access the handset, without deleting the call data by inserting a SIM which we dont know the ICCID / IMSI.
I have trawled the HEX and found some ICCID's, but have no idea how to find out which was last inserted in the handset.
Hope this makes sense.
Dan
What software are you using to decode the data?
XRY / UFED. Latest versions. XRY didnt return any serial numbers. I have then used XACT and UFED inbuilt HEX viewer.
