Hello,
I just received a Samsung Nexus S 4G (Sprint) for a case. It is locked with a passcode, not a pattern. Is there going to be any way to access the text messages/photos/contacts on this phone without knowing the passcode? Is there a tool for brute forcing the passcode?
I've tried hooking it up to our forensic workstation, and it will charge the phone but does not allow me to look at the files in the phone. Our UFED is unable bypass the passcode. I've tried using Lantern, Oxygen Forensics and MPE as well and neither of them are able to even detect that a phone is connected. I've installed the drivers for the phone as well and that has not helped with it being able to detect the phone.
Any help you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Steve,
What is the exact model number of that Samsung?
You might need to go to JTAG.

See if Passware has a product that supports that phone. I know there is a version of Oxygen that came out recently that has Passware built into it, there might be a standalone version though.
