Greetings All,

I am working on the above phone. The phone has a keypad lock password on it. Does anyone know how to bypass the password in order for Device Seizure or Cellebrite to access the data?

I can not get into the main screen at this time. SUSPECT is not co-operating…LOL.

Thanks
Kevin

Its really early in the morning here but could you try a method using bitpim, I just helped with this topic that sounds familiar to your situation http//www.forensicfocus.com/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=6736

if you can use bitpim or another extraction utility I may be able to assist with the deconstruction of the files. feel free to email me at Ryan.Manley@Wiseforensics.com.

To echo Branvan, NSPro would be a good place to start.

You could try the default privacy code for Samsung, 00000000. Although I doubt it will work as you say it is a keypad lock.

I assume you have tried to extract the handset while it is sat on the 'lock' screen? I know that some handsets can still be extracted from this screen!

Cellebrite UFED Physical support Physical extraction of the Samsung SGH-T459, including file system reconstruction and decoding the data (conatcts, call logs, sms, images …)

As a bonus since it is physical extraction, you will probably get deleted data too.
