Hi together.

I have the following issue
Samsung SM-G800F (S5 mini, no OTG), USB debugging disabled and it is in flight mode.
The phone is locked with a pattern code.

Is there any way to bypass the pattern code?
We have an UFED4PC but it needs the USB debugging mode enabled….

Is there any other way to get the physical data WITHOUT ChipOff method?

Thanks

BR
Guido

If this is European version it should has unlocked bootloader so it shouldnt be a problem to get physical dump.

Hi Thomass30

Yes it is an european device….

I'm not sure if the bootloader is unlocked
I'm wondering, why the UFED can't connect to the device…
so how can I get a physical dump?

Because the USB is set to charge only.

Well, it's really easy to remove or bypass lockscreen for that model.
Yes, it has Unlocked BL and there's no FRP lock or OEM.
So, you need just to flash TWRP recovery which is officially supported from the team and then to remove *.key files right from /data/system (for this you may use Terminal from TWRP or even File Manager), reboot phone and now you have no pattern and you can access all the data, enable USB Debugging and read a physical dump as you want.

Even better, make a dump while still in recovery which has root access already.

1) Reboot into recovery mode (Press Volume-Up + Home + Power button)

2) If you come from a stock ROM, this is your opportunity to make a Backup of your phone(Backup, then select Boot, System, Data, then swipe to backup). Note that the recovery might fail to restore the backup when you want to go back to the stock ROM (for me it got stuck after a restore during boot. But the backup was made with a different version of TWRP, so it might work in general) - simply do not expect too much of it at the moment.
