I have gone to may web sites and vendors - ebay and amazon and worked through the list on the Forensic Focus group looking to purchase a device.
I have found TableauT4 - no longer made or sold.
I have an external Adaptec SCSI to USB that needs drivers to run (XP or older) and per Guidance this will not work with the Tableau T8R2 since the drivers needed for the device would be blocked by the T8. Anyone know if this is correct?
So are there any devices available for the SCSI platform available for purchase?
I think this will be a one time use and most likely the device will never be used again.
We managed to get an old SCSI card and used Forensic Distro of Linux as a writeblocker. Might be easier
What type of scsi connector does the drive have that you need to image?
I have a couple of the Tableau TD2 kits with forensic bridges that include the SCSI module, but from memory they stopped making the SCSI adapter (god knows why), but if you can source one of them that might be worth a look.
Reach out to any contacts you have in your part of the world and see if anyone has a TD2 with the SCSI bridge adapter, you may be able to borrow/hire it for a short job.
Failing that if you can get your hands on a card and cable you could always go the software block option…
This place still has the SCSI adapters listed on the site, whether they have any in stock may be a different issue.

i also need a write blocker to image a SCSI 68 pin Internal HDD, does anyone have a solution i can work with? I do have a 40 pin IDE fast block from guidance software but i would need an adapter to get the drive mounted. i would be willing to make a purchase to resolve the issue I am experiencing. Iam looking for the Tableau T4 if anyone wants to part with it. Thanks for the help!
