Hello all,

Could anyone recommend an open source SIM analysis tool? I'd be particularly interested in one that allows you to browse the SIM file structure i.e. to look at individual DF's/ EF's.

Thanks,
Jon.

Hi Jon,

Have you investigated pySIM, SIM Scan, SIMBrush, ETC., already?

Cheers!

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I found pySIM but not the other two. I'll take a look at them now.

Does anyone else have any tools please?

I would be particularly interested in a tool like SIMBrush that extracts all of the files on the SIM card and allows you to view the data in each file. The problem being that I need a Windows tool.

"Open-source" and "running on Windows" usually cannot be written in the same sentence, unfortunately ( .

Why do you need a Windows tool?

If an application meets your needs why not switch the underlying operating system environment so that you can utilize that application?

Cheers!

Especially with the ease of virtualization, having multiple OS's to work from makes my work easier.
