Hi guys,
Is there any method to extract data (messages, phonebok) from the SIM card which is locked by unknown PIN?

Thanx a lot )

Get the PUK1 and PUK2 codes from the service provider. If you can't get them, ask your LE to get them.

In some olded cheap burner samsungs I've pulled the SIM PIN with the Z3X box. This is the ony time I've recovered SIM PIN data and its still not consistent accross models. PUK is the best option and previously suggested

Isn't that (bypassing PIN) a feature of Mobiledit? ?

Neither Mobiledit nor any other software - I know of- can bypass the PIN of a SIM. What mobiledit says as a feature might be the PIN of some phones - not of SIM cards, because some phones have an unlock code that is also called PIN, which has to do with the phone not with SIM card. That PIN is different. "If you forget your google sign-in details, you can enter your backup PIN to unclock". So It is for the phone. That is what Mobiledit may be referring to by saying bypass. I agree. Even if recovered if they have changed the SIM PIN since the one recovered from the phone was cached, even the phone would not get you around this. However I have 100% recovered the SIM PIN from the memory of an old Samsung mobile phone, could have been an E1230. Certainly a similar model

In theory there is a method, if you manage to clone the SIM, you have 3 tries, clone again, try again… and so on. There are only 10k combinations )

I see. )
Surely then the info on MobilEdit site is deceiving. x

What do the "change" and "unblock" buttons in this screenshot, do then? 😯

I see there an "Activated No". If the software could do it, I think it would be highly advertised )

Maybe the FF registered "MOBILedit_Compelson" user could give more details about how this all works ?!

Just out of curiosity, how much memory would you find in a sim card? Do they vary or are they all the same? How many SMS or address book records would it hold?
