Smart Card Hacking
The smart card hacking report has an interesting description for classification of the various levels of criminal activity in addition to techniques of smart card hacking. This particular report was the one that inspired me to write about SIM Card Cloning for examiners. Once again thanks and respect to Ross Anderson and Markus Kuhn.

sorry but why can't I/we access any of the blog sites in your signature or pages that you link to?
I'm not "invited" according to blogspot, what's the point of having restricted pages/sites in this manner?
Sorry, who are you?
Your profile is empty and you haven't posted at FF since you joined in Dec 2009 so I don't know who you are.
well it wasn't my intention to step on your toes, I just don't understand why you include or post links here on FF that seems interesting to read that are restricted, hence starting this kind of discussions as it seems to me a waste of time so I don't really understand why I even bothered. If I had checked your first link I would have seen that it stated "approved access only" and I would have left it at that..
So a humble suggestion is to get a tinyurl for your last (or all) since the signature here on FF seems to shorten the sim2usim site address
tmpzero, no you haven't stepped on my toes, but thank you for your concern. I simply didn't know who you were, there was nothing about you in your profile, and I thought perhaps you might be able someone who could have access but didn't know how to go about it.
Thank you anyway though for your suggestion. Appreciated.
Do send a PM though if difficulties are experienced accessing the blogs.
With all due respect, trewmte, user tmpzero has a point with respect to the link you've published. Publishing "closed" (in terms of access) material in an "open" forum will neither inform or help anyone in the forum and will, at the end of the day, only result in more work for you in terms of selectively granting access to people and getting "please invite me" letters.
I have noted the point and thank you George for your observations also.
Guys,
This forum sort of acts like a covered dish dinner. The more people bringing dinner the more food there is for everyone. Less dinners and there isn't as much to go around. When it comes down to it I believe it has something do do with paying your dues. DarkSYN, since you have about 40 posts I'd say that you have paid yours. Other than those that may just have a general curiosity in forensics, most of the members have something to offer IMHO. Everyone, their skill level aside, can benifit from the sucess stories and the failures of others, but for many they choose not to post and just obtain knowledge, tips, or whatever.
While I am not suggesting this, I have been a member of forums in the past that required a certain amount of posts before you could have access to certain information. While it was frustrating, it did encourage participation. In a way I think its a bit funny to assume that the red carpet is going to be rolled out for someone that just showed up. If you show that you are intersted in participating in the process I have a feeling an invite to the private blogs is right around the corner.
Cheers!
