I have small query

1. Can you Modify an SMS after its been sent by a user?
2. Is it possible to detect the modification?

Here I would like you to consider the simplest verison of Mobile Phone (Nokia basic phone) with no High end features. And the Mobile has an in built Phone Memory!

- Yes it is possible to modify an SMS after it has been sent
- Yes it can be possible to detect the modification

I should say that your description is wide and therefore you may need to describe in more detail what you mean "after it has been sent"?

It would not be appropriate to discuss how modification could be done openly as someone who may be less than honest may use it and then try to hide their tracks. I don't think Jamie (the owner of this site) would be best pleased that his site is used in that way.

Most Nokia have a built in memory, but unless you are saying the SMS text messages are in the handset, then maybe by default they are stored in the SIM.

Saying a Nokia basic phone is not much help really… is the handset a DCT3, DCT4 or something else? If you are not sure of that what is the Model number?

Thanks
Greg
