I've been looking around for some software similar to live view, either free or paid..

For those who don't know what it is here is the link..

Live View

It has worked well in the past for older machines, but Vista and older OS's are becoming distant memories.

I know VMWare has as VM creation tool. Again it's been a hit or miss at times with that tool so I am looking to expand our tool chest in this area..

I have seen liveview work on windows 7 machines, but it seems it has to be the very first few versions of Windows 7 machines. I haven't had any success with Windows 7 service pack one as I keep getting the message not support.

Thanks again in advance..

Hi,

About Live View, I suggest you use version 0.8RC1(the download link is in the Live View Forum). Make sure the host OS is Win7 64bit, and let us know what error message you encountered. You could take a look at posts by Rick in Live View Forum first. I've answered some questions on it.

I've been using Live View for several years and boot lots of evidence successfully. Wish you success~
