Our organisation has introduced a new welfare policy which includes a time limit on how long a user can view illegal images for before they are required to take a screen break.
Is there any software/tool which can be configured to provide a visual reminder to the user they must take a screen break e.g. 15 minute screen break every 45 minutes.
Ideally the software can target specific forensic software e.g. UFED so that when this is opened the timer is automatically started without requiring manual intervention from the user. I have found simple timer programs however am hoping there is something more specific for digital forensic/law enforcement environments.
If anyone has knowledge of software which can achieve the above and/or can share how their organisation implements similar measures I would be grateful.
Egg timer is the simplest form of timer. Anyone can ignore a timer, its the users sole responsibility to walk away and have timeout.
Easiest way for you to write that into your GN and SOP's.
Griffeye is pretty good with the welfare side of things, deduping / reducing the need for you to view the image multiple times.
