I would like to ask your help as I am stucked with a phone in the title. The device is gesture key locked and I can not find any way to get the data from it. I have already tried different methods on Cellebrite, but as I can't authorize the connection with the PC it was not successful. Obviously I have no information about the USB Debugging, no way reaching the settings and Developer options. I tried the ADB to delete or pull the gesture.key but the command 'adb devices' shows the device unauthorized which presumably goes back to the issue of connection authorization. Anyone had any success with this phone or could you suggest me sg worth to try? Thank you.
Theoretically you can bypass the lock using a custom recovery image made for servicing / engineering purposes.
Practically it is almost impossible to obtain an image like that from Sony or other 3rd parties.
Thank you. This is what I was afraid of…I started to try the most common patterns randomly as the device allows doing that without locking permanently, but it is like to beat the air.
