I think I already explained why I thought it was a proxy server. I came to my answer based on it being the most probable scenario. If I am mistaken, so be it, but can you prove otherwise?
That was the whole point of my original post, trying to ascertain what the answer to this scenario was.
I actually originally said
This one particularly interesting because the offender is either situated in Brazil, or more likely using a proxy server to access the zipmail account (the IP does trace to Brazil)â€.
If you read my posts several times like you said, then surely you would have seen this.
Your answer was:
What do these have to do with forensics? Did I miss something
Why now the big interest? And was I wrong? That was a ‘snotty’ reply in any language. I think you are getting wound up because you don’t like being challenged over your attitude, which IMHO stinks. You have turned what was a viable post, seeking an honest answer into an argument.
I think attempts to score points are now a bit petty, and risk becoming childish and laughable.

Andy,
You're really going out of your way to make this an issue about me. I've told you several times already that I'm interested in the discussion of tracing emails, nothing more…and yet you're turning this around to something about me being upset about being challenged. Dude, if I had a problem being challenged, I wouldn't be on this list. I expect to be challenged.
All I wanted to do was discuss the topic at hand, and learn from your experience. Instead, you turned it into something about me trying to score points. I have no idea where you got this.
