I have an ASUS Eee PC 900 that will not power up. The SSD is removable, but has a PCI express interface. I would really like to hook it up to a write-blocker but have no PCIE-to-anything adapters. Does anyone know of a PCI-E to USB or SATA external adapter, or other ideas? What say you gurus?

If its PCI-E can you not image it from a workstation booted using a forensic bootdisk of whichever flavour you like, such as Helix.

Yep, we've had this exact issue, but with an earlier 701 model.

The adapters that we purchased after this one were RunCore
RunCore Adaptors (from MyDigitalDiscount)

They currently list as out of stock, but they come back in fairly regularly. (email them for an update or for a notification)
