I need to recover data from a drive that has been encrypted with SEE 8. The SEE Pre-OS boot is not working properly. I created a new drive and encrypted it with the same version. I am trying to image the boot record for the Symantec Pre-OS where it asks you for the passphrase to decrypt the drive. I will attempt to place this image of the pre-os to the drive that is not working properly to see if that will fix the issue. Does anyone know any information of what sector the Symantec Endpoint Encryption Pre-OS starts at and how many sectors it spans? I have searched for three hours trying to look for this information and cannot find it. If anyone has done research into this please respond. This needs to get done immediately. I appreciate the feedback.
