I couldn't find specific information related to this so I thought I would throw it up on the forum and see if anyone can help me out. Our lab just received Internet Evidence Finder and we need to perform a thorough validation test on each of the features provided. We need a set of known test data with known artifacts, date/times of occurrences, etc. Due to our lab only having two examiners, we are a bit short on time to create a salted system with every one of the programs represented in IEF. I contacted Magnet Forensics and they have a test case file to load into IEF but we need an actual E01 or dd image to parse ourselves in order to show real world testing of the software.
Does anyone have an image data set that they used to test IEF? Would you be willing to make it available for our testing? Thank you in advance.
