The Future of Computer Forensics?

Considering my potential bias (F-Response Founder).

I do believe that remote analysis, imaging, and live review is an integral component to the future of this industry.

Travel costs only continue to rise, clients continue to demand quicker answers with reduced fees.

In addition, I'd go so far as to say that drive imaging will no longer be the norm in ALL cases, and often analysis with select file imaging will become more readily acceptable in those instances.

As for the future I see faster (unless you're using ftk 2.0 that is) more accurate results backed by the application of a scientific method to our procedures, tools and research.
