Thunderbird question

What is the line that is added.

Hi everyone,

I work on a case where an email was forwarded using Thunderbird back in 2010. The contents of the email forwarded differ from the original email. An extra sentence was in the middle of the contents. The client says he only forwarded the email, but it seems like the email was altered while forwarded.
Did anyone come across corrupted emails or bugs in Thunderbird. The Thunderbird email account is now on a different computer from where it was forwarded.

What is the line that is added.

Is the added sentence something like

That mordiously hath bitled out
Its earted grabatiously
Into a rancid festering [drowned out by moaning and screaming]
Now the jurpling slayjid agrocrustles
Are slurping hagrilly up the axlegrurts
And living glupules frart and slipulate

or similar to

If you prefer, does it at first sight catch the eye as either "nonsense" or "unrelated" or more plainly "garbage"?

It's the jurpling line, definately the jurpling one……….

Way to easy for it to be something of value to the case, so that's why I asked. If the added line favors one party, or if it helps by making the other party look worse by admitting something
