We are planning to add this functionality into UFED PA within 2-3 months.
Until then, this is a free service to our customers by sending us the files.

Hi,
When TomTom GPS was turned 20 times and he has at least 7 recent destinations, the device ask you if you want to improve TomTom products
"TomTom would like to gather some non-personal information to improve our products. The information, for example how long it really took to travel on certain roads, would be collected whenever you connect your TomTom navigation device to your computer. This will not affect your internet speeds or cost you anything. All information gathered is anonymous. Will you allow us to collect this information? "
If you answered YES, your displacements will be recorded. I do not know the frequency of these recordings, but it looks to be daily.
These files are encrypted and stored in a folder in the root called STATDATA containing these files.
Tomtom agrees to proceed to decrypt these files but only through the mutual legal assistance procedures.
For exemple, last year, TomTom has sold its data to the Dutch police which want to determine the location of new radars 😉
Indeed, these are the files that will be decrypted.
The result are accurate time stamped coordinates (5 second resolution)
