Snapview from www. digital-detective.co.uk is a nice free tool for reconstructing the contents of IE cache.

SnapView is a tool for simply viewing html encoded pages . It does not actually 'reconstruct' web pages as this requires the original html code to be re-written to change the references to point to locally cached objects (such as graphics and embedded objects).

This was one of the reasons for the development of my tool FIX (which is also free).

Kind regards

colsanders,

Delve is included on THE FARMER'S BOOT CD. It's not a freebie, but it might be worth looking into. You can read more at www.forensicbootcd.com . I'll try to get some screen shots up today or tomorrow so you can see what arashiryu is referring to. It's a point-and-click program that makes previewing data fairly easy and fast.

Finally got a moment to drop up some screen shots for my preview tool that can be used to review Internet habits fairly quickly and easily.

This is not a marketing pitch, but a simple reply to this thread regarding FBCD and someone who found it useful in quickly previewing this type of data.

cheers!
